Second, I think Blinker The Star released another album recently, and though I have yet to hear it, August Everywhere is an album of amazing funtasticness.  I suggest people take a listen.  "September Already" is the opener and consequently the song you should downlo... I mean listen to first. ;)

It was a tough choice for me between the Arcade Fire (which I chose) and the New Pornographers (local for me, and I really like Neko Case and AC Newman).
