Ummmm for me it's probably Metric.
Otherwise I would've gone for The Unicorns, Do Make Say Think, or some other Constellation band.

They came here not too long ago but I missed the show, which sucks because good bands don't come to Nova Scotia very often.

Sloan would win my vote if they were on here. Since they aren't, the next pick is easily The New Pornographers. Then Arcade Fire, and probably DFA1979 after that.
