Actually that took more work than it looks, it wasn't just a cut-and-paste job.  The Owl didn't completely cover Dora, so I had to remove Dora from the picture and fill in the background behind her, like part of the white appliance which I assume is a minifridge.  Then I slapped the Owl into the picture and re-aligned the speech bubbles and...

Wait, no, I'm not supposed to be saying this.  I refuse to let myself take pride in this thing.  For god's sake, I used Paint to replace Dora with the ORLY Owl.  I'm going to hell for this.

dora got into my head and demanded i draw her. hopefully i can sleep now. in the morning i will try to improve the contrast- i sketch pretty lightly in pencil. i'm pretty happy with how all the porportions came out, though she's older than i imagined.. thoughts?

Thank you.  I was trying to express the emotions I got from Faye's Dad's story and goodness knows I shed a few first time I read it.

I did this instead of paying attention during my lecture today...(tablet laptop + boring speech = bad art). Faye says she studied sculpting in college, but we've never seen any of her work...so obviously I took liberties with her style...apparently, according to the poster in the background, she's sculpting in the...bathroom?

Not really looking for critique, I did this just for fun. Isn't really my drawing style, but I saw Jeph's tutorial and decided to try it out...

Home-made QC Music Video

The pans and zooms really kept this interesting, when still images could have made it look like a slideshow.  Reuse of images was pretty low, but interesting because it seemed like a throwback to normal music videos that switch between several recurring scenes.  Very nice!
