Hah! My art may be darker'n the comic itself, but I wouldn't think it to be Miller dark. Less whores and repetition either way ;)

If those are just one-hour dealios then a daylong effort must be stunning...
These incorporate a lot of stuff that's tricky to get just right... the expressions, the masses, the lighting/shading, the delicious ambiguity---Faye looks like she's about to rip your head off or crack a joke, or both--Dora looks like she needs something, but can't quite figure out what it is, and she might just break down if she doesn't get it.
Dunno if you intended any of that, but I'm picking it up. Color(charcoal) me very impressed.

Jotunheim, those portraits are beautiful. It's really interested to see such realistic interpretations of the characters that are still completely recognisable.

"Someone" being me. 8-) Except I'm pretty sure I didn't say it should be spelled that way, just that I've seen other forums that do spell it that way to reduce confusion.

Yeah, yeah. But "bus" and "cab" didn't already have meanings of their own, so dropping those apostrophes didn't cause any confusion. "Shipping", however...
