Conatonc:
Wiretap Scars is alright. But I haven't listened to it in months and found I had no interest in their newer album when it came out. They seem bland to me. I also went to see them live on the Snocore tour a couple of years ago and it was not a real great show.
Mars Volta have plenty of flaws (as did ATDI), but at least a lot of their music is interesting.
Johnny C:
I enjoy the Mars Volta precisely because it's wankery, frankly, but it's wildly insane and experimental wankery, risky, and also comes wrapped in the form of concept albums which have insane, incredible but (if you piece them together right) coherent plot.
Sparta I enjoy not so much.
Benn London:
I only own WS, the first album, but I don't think there is much of a progression musically in the second enough to buy the second.
Don't get me wrong, I liike it, but I don't feel a need to own it.
Sophi:
They're from my hometown? My friend's cousin was in At the Drive In, I don't know if he's one of the ones that transfered over to Sparta. I think he was.
Johnny C:
Where do these relatives of bands keep coming from, and how do they keep finding Questionable Content? Like seriously, I only have enough "woahs" I can say before they become cliched.
I mean uh, yeah, they're from El Paso. Or they were. I think they moved to L.A. at some point down the road.
