so, yeah, i LOVE DEP. seriously. i have all their albums, even the stuff they did with mike patton (especially the stuff they did with patton). and i've seen them many times. and yeah, they put on a TERRIBLE show. the music is good, and that's nice, but it's pretty much everything you said. boring, undanceable, etc. they don't have the best stage presence. and my "don't have the best" i mean that johnny carsons decaying corpse would have more presence. just not that much fun.

I have this theory that people think that DEP are extreme/their singers really scary etc. because they have nothing to judge them against.
Because they're not extreme, and he just looks like a prannet.
