KharBevNor:
Macabre totally rock. The cover to 'Sinister Slaughter' with all the serial killers is one of the best Sergeant Peppers parodies ever.

Johnny C:
HEART OF THE EAGLE
HE FLIES THROUGH THE RAINBOW
INTO A NEW WORLD AND FINDS THE SUN
SPREADING HIS WINGS
ABOVE ALL THE SORROWS
THE GLORY OF EAGLEHEART

KharBevNor:
I WALK TO MY OWN SONG
EVERY DAY THE POWER GROWS STRONG IN ME
I WALK TO MY OWN SONG
HEAD UP PROUD
SO DON'T QOUTE CAPITALISED STRATOVARIUS SONGS AT MEEEEEE...

Haha yes, it is quite awesome.

I had the pleasure of seeing Macabre in concert. . I went absolutely fucking nuts during when I heard him announce. . "ALBERT. . .WORSE THAN ANY FISH IN THE SEA!"

Edit:  Another cool thing about seeing them live was he told a little bit about each serial killer before performing their song.  interesting!

I'd say most of it falls into the math rock category, which I like because it's nice and big. Vague genres are handy, they give a handle to what kind of ballpark you're talking without pigeonholing too much. Heard some good local mathy instrumental stuff tonight, Trees. I'd recommend Creation Is Crucifixion for mathy grind, Hella for some good mathy rock and Maximillion Colby for hardcore with a math vibe. All very much worth checking out.
