From what I've heard they are still putting on a hell of a show -- I won't know until October. :D -- so I believe the answer is no.

My friends just went to their show, and liked it, but they're U2 fans, so what can I say.

I sure hope HTDAB was their last, well actually I wouldn't mind if they didn't play it on every last radio station around.   My parents even dislike the band now, and they were huge fans in U2's early days.

Did anyone read maddox's "11 worst songs of 2004"?

to be anal about it, if you listen to the lyrics, he is singing "onze, doze, treize, quatorze"  which is translated to "11,12,13,14"

at any rate, i will agree that they have put out some pretty bad albums recently and "how to dismantle..." was not terribly strong, but I have to say i was also a fan of "Yahweh" and "Sometimes you can't do it on your own".  and All that You Can't Leave Behind was a strong album in and of itself.  At any rate, for all you U2 haters, I don't think they'll give up yet. sorry.  they've got a good 20 years or so before they catch up to the Rolling Stones

actually he was singing uno, dos, tres, catorce... Spanish for 1, 2, 3, 14. Bono even said on VH1's Spotlight that there was some alcohol involved in the writing of that...

Something about parts of the album just seemed like bono trying to further inflate his own ego. "How to dismantle" was a load of suckage, IMO.


EDIT : Just read that article by Maddox...I'm just glad I'm not the only one who thought there was something jsut WRONG about "Love and peace or else." Hilarious.
