It can't be all like Mogwai because Indie artists can span pretty much any genre. Too bad you don't like Come On Die Young. It's my favorite Mogwai album.

I much prefer Young Team and the My Father, My King EP.  But yeah, Mogwai is definitely a weird place to start with "indie rock."
