it's a story by brian vaughn about what would happen if everything that was male suddenly died except for one man and his monkey. i've only read the first collected edition which is like the first 3 issues but it's really interesting! all the males are dead (every male animal too) so this is really the last generation for every species, since they are all female. this guy yorick and his monkey actually are attempting to find his love who was on the other side of the world when this happened.

the world is pretty much in chaos as you can imagine
