What's your worst musical tragedy?

--- Quote from: niatinari ---Off topic, I listened to the Inkubus Sukkubus samples you posted a while back and enjoyed them greatly. I'm going to have to pick up some of their stuff!

Better keep 'em away from your parents. They actually are somewhat occultic.
My Finntroll - Visor Om Slutet CD has a scratch that goes all the way through.
This mortifies me. I will have to buy another copy. Even though I have it backed up. For one, the CD design itself is beautiful. For two, it's one of the best albums ever, and I need it on CD if I am to listen to it on my walkman in my long, nocturnal rambles through the forest whilst my MP3 player is off getting repaired.
niatinari:
Duly noted. Of course it's been a while since I had things taken away for being occultic, and my mom has gotten over even bothering to check what I'm listening to anymore, but it's probably still a better idea not to scare her.
Moving out in just over two months.... yes
KharBevNor:
Well, I mean, all the members are practicing wiccans. They write songs about witchcraft (both real and classic cliche witchcraft, because they are somewhat tongue-in-cheek) and express a decidely anti-christian bent in some songs, which criticise the church for things like witch burnings (duh), the crusades and child abuse. But certainly no immature 'GOD SUX' type sentiments.
Personally, I think the lyrical mixture of sex, vampires, nature worship and silliness* is hellaciously awesome.
*They do a cover of "Can't Get You Out of my Head" with altered, morbid lyrics, and who can forget their tribute to 25 years of punk: "Vampire Punk Rockers From Hell".

anytime that a good actor thinks that he/she can sing well too...
or anytime a good singer thinks he/she can act well too.....
niatinari:
I'd sort of got that impression from things you'd said about them, and, well, from "Beltaine." And I tend to think that poking fun at religions (especially your own) is healthy. It's good to be open-minded. Unfortunately, wicca is still a sore topic around my house.
