--- Quote from: Signum_Tenebrae ---Gibsons are very nice. . though very expensive.

Marshall amps I haven't had much experience with.

I play on a BC Rich Guitar and a Fender Amp and I'm incredibly happy with both.

You have to pay over $1500 to get a good Marshall...their MG series is fucking horrible.

BC Rich guitars...meh. Again, you have to buy a high-end one to make it be worth it. They get most of their money from kids who see a pointy guitar in a store and go "OMG, MUST PURCHASE."

Johnny C:
And I still hate BC Rich.

uhh. . Not really.

I don't know what you consider "high-end" but I have a Platinum Virgin (~ $400) and it plays like a dream.

Everything they make is pretty good, aside from the Bronze Series (two guitars) and the "packs" (amp, guitar, strap all in one)

^ Meh, I've played B.C. Richs (awkward pluralisation!), and I must say that I prefer the sounds of my LP. Still, different strokes for different folks. (I'm becoming my grandmother.)

Signum_Tenebrae:
Yeah, well who wouldn't prefer a Les Paul?

I prefer a Les Paul too, but that doesn't make BC Rich a crap brand :P
