Wysiwyg:
Back to QCForuns! One webcomic you MUST see is Nine Planets Without Intelligent Life. Itīs very Douglas Adams-ish and you must read it from the beginning to understand the history. I fell in love with it in the first comic.

Another one, very short and insane, is The Perry Bible Fellowship. Itīs so weird that i just canīt stop laughing.

brighteyed:
toothpastefordinner.com, if no one has said so already.

it's a bit avant-garde at times, but i think it's brilliant.

SeanBateman:
www.qwantz.com is amazing in an indescribable way.

for fantastic art... that blatantly (and admittedly) rips-off Mac Hall.

but updates far more frequently

That's debatable...

Neither site updates regularly.

I don't care if a webcomic author/artist wants to update once a month, or once an hour... just maintain some consistency!!!  I hate visiting a comic that I love (like VG Cats) which promises an update on a certain day, only to find no update.

Speaking of VG Cats... WTF?  If he's just late with this week's comic, then he's... like... 3 days late... which sucks, because you're guaranteed that every second comic there is pure freaking gold!!
