So I’m sitting here watching rage at 1 in the morning and the video clip for Laika by The Arcade Fire comes on. Watching the video clip gave the song a whole new depth of meaning. And the video clip was pretty awesome.

Anyway, the song made me think of QC instantly. So ah.. what's your favorite music video clip?

At risk of sounding like a stuck record: The video for Paranoid Android is fantastic. Also the Just video is always worth a mention. I don't tend to see many music videos though, as I don't have any kind of music television.

Yes, Just by Radiohead is probably the long term favourite of mine.

Best thing: the video for "Buddy Holly" came on the Windows 95 disc and was my first introduction to the awesomeness that is (was?) Weezer.

It has nothing to do with music, but I saw it this morning and have been laughing since then.  Tie together ~40 of those water rockets that you made in 6th grade science class and fasten them to your back.  What do you have? A rocket pack!!!

That can be found online:

Impaled Nazarene - Armageddon Death Squad

Impaled Nazarene rock the fuck out, all speeded up but synched in, whilst cheerleaders in black and red outfits holding guns dance in time to the music. Then, at the end, the cheerleaders all come to attention, spin round and riddle the band members full of bullets: The band members continue rocking out very hard, even as they are literally shredded by small arms fire.

watch

Finntroll - Trollhammaren (Trollhammer)

Finntroll, 'trolled up' in fur, rags, feathers etc. rock out on instruments made of bone, string and wood in the midst of a huge trollish drinking hall filled with quaffing and dancing trolled up persons. There is also fire-breathing. It is muchly awesome.

watch

Therion - Summernight City

'effin Abba cover. Sung by the cast of a black and white costume drama as they go about their business. Wierd and very cool.

watch

And some others later when I can be pooped.
