I'm surprised the Casualties aren't playing this year. I think they came last year, and a few of my friends went. I'm not a fan though, so I didn't go. However, seeing Jorge's hair might be worth the price of the ticket.

I've looked on http://www.albertapunk.com/site/upcomingshows/default.aspx , and absolutely crap is coming here. There are a couple not-bad bands that come here sometimes, like Wednesday Night Heros, but other than that it's largely small-time pop-punk acts and emo bands. Sometimes I think it'd be really nice to live where a person I know does. She's 45 minutes from bands like Drongos for Europe, and the Wasted festival. Look at this lineup for the Amsterdam festival!

^Now THAT's what I call a punk rock festival!

a pack of wolves:
I didn't even know Homebrew were still going, saw them a bunch of times a few years back. I assumed they'd split.

Why, of course.

Bucky, thats a crazy festival. Everyone will come in and only half will leave. I'd risk it if I could.

bucky_2300:
Yeah, it'd be awesome. Only downside is you don't crap for 3 days, because no one wants to go near the Porta-Potties. However, the bands make up for that.
