Dredg

Merkava:
They're a genre-less band that uses atmosphere and hard rock riffs. They really work to craft those ambience parts and really make them, dare I say, beautiful.

They also have some jazzy breakdowns/jams, etc. They do everything, especially on El Cielo

californaya:
The only song I've ever heard by Dredg is "Same Ol' Road", and I love it.

I've heard good things about them from several people, and they're on my list of bands' CD's to buy when I have the opportunity.

Peter Linfield:

Damn, you've found me out.

"Same Ol' Road" is a great track, but it's only one of many great songs from El Cielo. One of the best albums I have, I suggest you buy it ASAP.

<3 and I haven't even heard 'em.

gaslight:
Dredg are a really impressive band. Great work instrumentally and even the production deserves a lot of credit.

El Cielo and Leitmotif are great stuff.
