I consider this man one of the greatest unsung heroes of country music and music in General. His new album is incredible, and most of his old stuff is as well. Anyone else a fan?

Been meaning to check him out for a while now - I'll probably wait 'til I'm on my next big country music bender.

I enjoy "Pair of Brown Eyes", though admittedly I have never heard the original.

As in the Pogues song?  Do yourself a favour, get your hands on a copy of Rum Sodomy and the Lash.

"In Spite Of Ourselves" with Iris Dement is one of my favorite songs of all time.
