friends with really BAD webcomics

My Aim Is True:
Are any of you friends (online or IRL) with people who do web comics that just really suck? I have one friend, good dear friend, one of the first people to show me around Jacksonville, and he started a webcomic just over a year ago... and I cannot believe he has any fans, but somehow people who don't even know him think it's funny/cute. Myself and all our other friends just try to avoid talking to him about it.
