Fun Stuff > BAND

That's something i like about England/where i live. There is no real indie scene in the same way as in America. If i find a band i like within the wide genre of indie, my friends are generally not aware of them or the scene in general. So I have no real perception of what's too hip or too scene etc. I'm able to go about my buisness without having preconceptions about a band.
To me, all indie music is as indie as the rest!
Gryff:
It's fairly similar in New Zealand, I guess. I just have a few friends who can be elitist bastards sometimes (not that I don't love them for it). Personally I prefer to take the route of "if it sounds good, I don't care who else likes it".
For instance, I fucking love the new Snoop Dogg/Justin Timberlake song "Signs". How indie is that?
Miroku:
isnt this the band with Joey the Rat from Boy Meets World?
trolley:
Does anyone know whether these guys are any good live? 'cos they're playing London next week and i need to know whether it's worth:
1) parting with my cash that i so desperately need to buy myself a new computer.
2) wandering through camden, london on a tuesday night on my own, bearing in mind i'm a skinny, small 16 year old guy who's like a glowing beacon for any muggers to come and kick the crap outa me or murder me on the tube.
I like 'em , but are they any good live?
a pack of wolves:

Where about do you live in England? Because there are a hell of a lot of hipsters around Leeds, and definitely an indie scene.
