I think that the phrase "Paula Abdul" should become slang.  Like if you want a regular latte ("straight up" if you will) it should be called a Paula Abdul latte.

There's nothing to be ashamed of with power metal. Come on, IT'S THE POOOOOWWWWEERRRR OF THE DRAAAAAAGGON FLAAAAME!  ;)  

I don't actively listen to any bands I myself consider shitty, but I listen to plenty of bands that all the cool kids think are shitty. And of course, bands that indie kids would think are great, but my metal brothers in arms would think are crap.  

I occasionally listen to Coheed and Cambria, AFI, Thrice, Coldplay or even Green Day. And I don't care what you think.

Oh yeah, and U2 is great even though they are one of the most popular bands in the world.  Don't hate on them just because they are awesome arena rock.
