Of course their old stuff is good, and I sort of liked Reroute to Remain, but in general both At the Gates and Dark Tranquillity destroy In Flames.

Dissection isn't really death metal, so I'm not sure what they have to do with At the Gates vs. In Flames. If your talking metal from Sweden in General, what about Candlemass or Katatonia? Or Vintersorg? Or Hammerfall? There's a huge variety of awesome bands from Sweden.

Yahr it is. I am actually deliberately parodying the dress of one of my friends who holds that opinion about In Flames there, but it works as a general archetype of the less poserish MDM fan, I think.
