New Bear Vs. Shark Album

saturnine1979:
Just picked up Terrorhawk yesterday and gave it a listen today.

My initial verdict: not quite as good as Right Now, You're In The Best Of Hands..., but still damn good.

Favorite Track: "Out Loud Hey Hey"

Just wondering if anyone else has heard it/what you think about it.
And if you haven't heard Bear Vs. Shark, do yourself a favor: do.

Merkava:
It WILL cream your jeans.

Really, I wouldn't compare the two albums. It's just that this one seems to have a dark theme to it, and is a more "swarming moods" type of album. I like them both equally, but to me, Best of Hands and Terrorhawk are pretty different.

5, 6 Killers, man. 5, 6 Killers. :P

My Aim Is True:
I really dug their first album, but I wasn't as keen on the quieter parts. Is Terrorhawk sufficiently loud?

Spencer:
I'm definitly on the same team as My Aim Is True. I loved the first BvsS album, but it was all about the loud and raucous bits. Is this album Loud and Raucous?

Merkava:
Yeah. Most of the songs are loud and raucous, but I also found the quieter parts raucous, especially since they bring in some horn instruments to create a pink-floyd stoner kind of feeling in the 4th or 5th song. Otherwise, there's a good amount of loud.

It's a lot more moody. The band themselves say they want it to be thought of as an album rather than a collection of songs.
