...you need to check this out.  Holy crap I want one.

http://www.selftuning.com/video/tuning_example.htm

It constantly keeps your guitar in tune, all the time.  You never have to tune your guitar ever again.

$6k for a new Les Paul with one of these preloaded.

Wow, that would be awesome.  I could switch from playin black or power  metal in standard to death or doom in C# at the push of a button.  Of course I needto come up with 3,800 dollars now. at that price I'll just buy some more guitars.

That would be nice but it isn't that hard to tune a guitar especially if you have one of those electronic thingies.

unless you just had a couple thousand dollars laying around and you had no way to spend it, i don't see how that much money can be justified! i mean, that is pretty fucking slick, and if it cost a couple hundred dollars, i bet more people would see the beauty of it... but not for that.

hmm...it's either buy a 'vintage fender telecaster custom and a blackface tremolux or bandmaster with matching 2 15 cab' or a computer tuner for a guitar i already have... tough choice.

I just thought it was a cool technology.  I mean, right now it's only for rock stars with money to burn, but eventually it will probably be standard on guitars... give it a couple decades.

i dont have much problems with keeping my Ibanez in tune.besides its not hard to tune a guitar, especially if you have one of the Korg tuners, those things are awesome. if i had 6 thousand bucks, id get a couple of guitars, a few amps, and a couple of stomp boxes instead of something that only removes like 2 minutes from my play time.

Hell, If I had $6000 I'd buy a new Taylor and save the other $3000 or so.

Wow, that looks handy as hell. I'd buy one if they weren't so bloody expensive...but I don't think I'd pay more than about $50-100

If I had a ton of money, and was too lazy to learn chord forms, I might get that.

It would rock for Avant-Garde. You could change tuning mid-song, and perform Crotchduster songs live.
