That wacky Khar! He sure does love his metal! *canned laughter*

Indie kids and metal kids hanging out would make a great sitcom (oh wait, I think that's Diesel Sweeties).

...Anyway, if you want to go more modern then The Shins, Sleater-Kinney would be good starting places. Also Television's Marquee Moon is one of the greatest albums EVAR!

Robbo:
Well, forums and the world would all be a very dull places if everyone listened to the much pimped indie from around here. And that actually wasn't a shot at the music for once. Because it'd be the same for any one type of music.

KharBevNor:
Oh, I'm sorry. Just suggesting that, you know, there might be alternative routes to appreciating music other than listening to the same old crap bands that everyone MUST listen to OR BE CAST INTO A PIT OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE!. Just suggesting that a world where everyone listened to the same tepid, medioc...music might be a boring place. Just trying to point out that there is no hard and fast rules to anything, and that this 'indie' rock music is no better than any other genre except by subjective taste, and that there might be more unusual and interesting things out there down the left hand path less trod.

Sorry I spoke.

Gryff:
I was just teasing. As was Khar initially, I imagine.

Robbo:
Lol, I wasn't being completely serious myself. But Khar has a point. Or several infact...even if somewhat in jest.
