Among my faves, both movie and series, are: Cowboy BeBop (all time fav), Perfect Blue, Ghost in the Shell (especially Innocence), Love Hina, Comic Party, FLCL, Azumanga Daioh (eeee!), R.O.D., Gunslinger Girl, Last Exile, Chobits, and Trigun.
I will confess, however, that I am much more of a Manga addict than I am an Anime addict.

Also, I want to put in a vote for The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. I'm not a big anime fan but they showed this at my college's anime club and I thought it was great. Anyone heard of it? Eh? Eh?
