As far as modern hip-hop, I don't think anyone mentioned P.O.S - he's a punk influenced rapper, "A rapper who hates rap" as he describes himself. He's got an album out called "Ipecac Neat" so far, I think he recently signed on with Rhymesayers, as he's from MPLS.
And as far as older, two names come to mind:
Biz Markie, and The Fat Boys.

I'm not exactly a Chingy fan, he just happens to be on the list of hiphop artists that I like. My fannage, so to say, is more towards Dr. Dre, Eminem, 2Pac, and the artists of G-Unit.
And Maui's right - I don't even strike myself as a hiphop fan; I just go through phases where I listen to it a hellofalot. Right now I'm in less of that phase, but that'll probably change when Detox comes out next year.

Somersault is a remix of a Zero 7 song I believe, and won't be on the album. It's been around for a while, but it's still dangerdoom, so I stuck it on. The other two will be on the album, so get excited.
