[if Popcore just measn poppy hardcore, then we've already got bands like No Warning and H2O.
the latter being a good band, the former just sounding like nu-metal.

oh, and to MilkmanDan, last night at work, this thread popped into my head because I had a ton of Mission Of Burma songs stuck in my head. You definitely need to check them out.
