Nickleback is the second-worst band in the world.

there were two people who stated that nickelback was from BC area, but they're from Alberta originally.
i agree though. to have had so much success when it's all based upon only one or two songs repeated over and over.... gah.

I remember they were on some danish mtv clone, and they were given some clay to make something or another. And what did they make? A fallos of course, that tasteless joke is pretty much akin to how I feel about Nickelback... fick even the name is ridiculous and I know the lame story behind it, which just makes the whole thing more absurd than it already were.

Not that it really matters, or is likely to influence my listening, but it's nice to know these things...

I thought the worst band according to this forum was Creed. It must have changed.
and yes, being from Alberta means Nickelback gets played on the radio here whenever possible. it sucks.
