Little Nemo in Slumberland
Kid Modernist:
Hey, I got the NES game for this comic (Little Nemo etc., if you forgot the topic. :) ) and I really liked it and eventually found out it used to be a comic in the 1920's. I was wondering if anybody knew where an online database of these comics are. I've looked all over the place, and the books go for about 200 bucks I guess, according to Amazon.com.
dancarter:
not much is online as far as strip directories, which is a shame. you can get the complete collected works hardback at the link below for $40, not super cheap, but way less than amazon is selling them for....and it's new.

Kid Modernist:
Ooh, that's awesome. Thanks a lot man.
My Aim Is True:
this comic is absolutely beautiful. Back at my mom's house there is this big anthology of early newspaper comics (from the Yellow Kid up to Pogo), and those Little Nemo comics were some of the best. Full page stuff, intricate linework, surreal landscape. I wish I had a full book of it.
deborah:
my parents had that anthology too. smithsonian thingy of comics, right? black flapjacket?
i'm totally going to steal that from my mom's house the next time i go home.
ps. this one?
