I purchased a copy last week, it's an old favourite and I thought it needed to join my DVD collection.

So I asked my BF to watch it with me, and he asked me what it was. WHAT?? How could you not have heard of it?

So i mentioned my shock to my friends, and they all confess to never having heard of it.

So i mentioned it to my co worker and she's never heard of it either.

What is going on???

It's not the best movie ever, but it's pretty damn good, and it's soundtrack, had even more success then the movie.

Do i just live in a "geographical oddity', where people don't watch good films?

It's an all-time favorite of mine. I live in So Cal where everybody's into the indie movies deal, so a lot of people have at least heard of it. I thought it was fairly big anyways though?

Awesome movie, so funny.

(I thought Miller's Crossing was boring...)
