...it makes you wonder whether it's even the same franchise. What's even more puzzling is the idea of the Rock (Dwayne Johnson is his real name, ladies and gents.) adeptly curing a deadly virus rather than blasting through demons with one or more shotguns.

Unless it's a "zombifying virus." In which case...well, no, that doesn't make it much more original, no.
