The Mountain Goats

The Mountain Goats are playing Auckland in like September or something. I would love to go but of course I don't live in Auckland, so it would end up costing over $200 to get tickets and fly up. Humph.

The Mountain Goats seem like the ideal live band. Their songs are really simple, so they have the capacity to add ANYTHING and not put too much effort, and it would sound awesome.

Inspired by this thread, I went out last night and purchased "the sunset tree". I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but I'm all a quiver just thinking about it.
