Everest:
I saw the Stooges last week. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen in a while. Iggy Pop's still got it!

Skibas_clavicle:

--- Quote from: thehoopiestfrood ---I've been to too many gigs in the past to start listing them all I think.

But in the last two weeks of August I am seeing:

Sons and Daughters
Pixies/Idlewild/Teenage Fanclub
Weezer
Franz Ferdinand/Ladytron
Franz Ferdinand/Arcade Fire
--- End quote ---

I hate you so much.  However between September 12th-29th, I'm seeing see Bloc Party, the Ska's Dead tour and Ted Leo & The Pharmacists:) It's gonna be a dancey two weeks.

Micolithe:
I've only ever seen the local band called Symmetry Breaking because, honestly, the only band that ever came anywhere near here was Blink 182 when I was in 7th grade. And I was already outgrowing them back then.

practicality:
I've been to an opera once outside... That's what you get for living in a small city in Oregon where a large number of residents are from California who come here to retire. Also, not having my own money to travel somewhere makes it tricky.

If I could go, I think I would want to see a Garbage and Franz Ferdinand concert.

Oh yeah, once I saw Natalie MacMaster, who's a fiddler with a friend... not really my cup of tea, but she enjoyed it and it was a free ticket.

KharBevNor:
My first ever gigs were a Genesis tribute concert and a Pink Floyd tribute concert (Think Floyd for the second one, can't remember who the Genesis guys were, but they were good).

The Pink Floyd one was just great. Especially because I was 14. But no, seriously. They had an awesome light show, and when they were doing 'In the Flesh' I was 'that one in the spotlight'.

I nearly wet myself.
