rawrXskittles:
weevil, you mean Arcade Fire am teh rock, right?

loyalpeon:
I still don't really get this? How is trying to have more people listen to your music a bad thing/selling out? I mean, if I started a band I'd want the whole world to listen, no? At the end of the day, what is the point of art if there is noone to appreciate said art?

I agree if whoever said that if you start altering your music for commercial appeal then you would be 'selling out', but if you're just putting out what you already have...?

Hell, some of the stuff I listen to is obscure as hell. Some of it. on the other hand. is pretty much as popular as music gets. Does that make the latter any worse than the former? Who cares if your music taste is shared by the world as long as it's still music that you, personally, for whatever reasons, find... pff, for lack of a better word: good.

Hell, everyone in the world simultaneously decides to listen to everything on my playlist/in my cd collection I'd be happy, though a little perplexed hehe.

So yeah...

blackfeltfedora:
for those of you worried about the arcade fire becoming "popular" and thus uncool, i would be more bothered by the fact they have been in newsweek twice in the past year than the fact that a much music is playing their videos.

also, the modest mouse toyota commerical was when i knew the cat was completely out of the bag there.

Hatebunny:
Nine inch Nails NEVER gets any airplay on Much or MuchMoreMusic.
The only Tool song that ever gets play is Schism. These bands have huge cult followings, and yet, they get no airplay. Apparently The Arcade Fire is considered disposable enough to be put on Much.

Honestly, they probably are disposable...being indie does not excuse disposableness.

*disposes of The Arcade Fire, and listens to Nine inch Nails 10 years into the future*

Much sucks. Give me Fuse!

Luke:
I was under the impression that Much had changed into Fuse. At least that's what happened on DirecTV...
