Hey all,

  I've just started to listen to the new Death Cab record on MTVu's The Leak. So far it sounds really mello, emotional without being overly emo. I want to know what y'all think. (PS: The Leak is here: http://www.mtvu.com/music/the_leak/death_cab_for_cutie/plans/ )

From what I've heard of the album, it's very much like you said. Unfortunatley, Death Cab forget that they only really work as a guitar band. They seem to be trying their hardest to get rid of their guitars in favor of the electronica, turning them into a Postal Service-like mutant. I like the new album, but I wish they'd go back to the sound of their first 3 albums.
