My attempts at my own comic (so far, updating...)

<< < (2/4) > >>

TheMike:
it's not funny, and the art could stand to improve. my best advice for the art is to copy another artists style over and over until it becomes your own.

also, the dialogue placement isn't very intelligent. rethink where you put the background, especially the windows, or even dull them out using pastel colors or a slightly lower opacity. remember to seperate foreground from background.

GebStar:
I can stand poor art if the jokes are funny.

So if you think of yourself more of a writer than an artist, work on your drawing a bit more but keep focusing on writing funny and original comics.

morca007:
Flagrantly breaking the rules? None at all occuring here. I simply do not enjoy unsolicited flames. Critiqueing the comic itself and giving some help is most welcome. Though I cannot fathom why anyone would comment on the jokes not being funny when I specifically state that they are not supposed to be good jokes. I suppose the interweb is reading optional.

Inlander:
Well if you already know they're bad jokes, why get so offended and jump down somebody's throat when they point that out in a fairly mild way?  It just doesn't make sense.

Kid Modernist:

--- Quote from: Inlander --- It just doesn't make sense.
--- End quote ---

And so you have to remember when you're in that jury room deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation; does it make sense?
