It was watching Cd:Uk hotshots last night during the Franz Ferdinand video"Do you want to?" there is a man on fire shaking hands with a man not on fire but it was blurred out.

Later on there was another man on fire not blurred but we saw him getting put out, though on the Les Rhythems Digitals video

Between this was a song that had the chorus,"I want some pussy pussy" (Jamesy P - Nookie)

Now how come you can say that but yet can't show men on fire, we know they are not hurting themselves and it was 1 o'clock at night i'm more offended by the pussy pussy than the man on fire thank you

most indie thing = when i was about 16, i waited outside a 21+ show to talk to dug martsch from built to spill and when the show was over, i got so nervous, i threw up in the alleyway i was listening from (yes, i was listening from outside... the sound guy spotted me when he came backstage to fix a cable... the door was all the way open... the sound guy actually propped the door open a little so i could hear all the bands). yes i met dug. yes i got my "there's nothing wrong with love" cd signed. and, sadly, yes i got grounded for coming home between 1-2am. my curfew was like 10:30.

That's almost a paradox though. To be indie, you gotta be on the edge of societal norms. But also, people have to recognize it. How could a hermit be indie if nobody knows he exists?

Also, the line "treat women better" reminded me of pretty much every Anal Cunt song ever (You were Pregnant so I kicked you in the Stomach, Hooray!), which reminded me of a time when I was trying to explain Anal Cunt to all those kids who wear the crazy Hot Topic pants with the chains and shit on them, and One kid was wearing an Opeth shirt and whatnot. cutting your own hair is more nerdy than indie... i should know since my girlfriend cuts my hair. it ends up being asymmetrical every time, but it is free so who gives a fuck? i cut my own hair in kindergarten. it was raw.
