What recent video games/systems/accessories have you purchased, and why?

I recently purchased a SNES with a few games, and a WIRELESS SEGA GENESIS CONTROLLER. Next up, a PS2, or perhaps a sega saturn.

last thing relating to a console was Viewtiful Joe. I remember playing it while i was drunk one time and it was the shit.

Then I learned you HAVE to be drunk for it to be the shit, cuz if you're not, its just SHIT.

Before that I was on a Prince of Persia stint. Oh that crazy prince!

Last video game related purchase: Xbox Live

I also rent games via Gamefly, so I'm always playing new stuff. Currently I have Psychonauts and Death, Jr.

I just bought Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for GC. I immediately regretted it and am returning it tomorow.

Most recent purchase was Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal. I regret waiting to beat Going Commando for so long.

My flatmate recently wiped our Tekken 5 data by accident (those "do not switch off/reset your console" messages are there for a reason) so I'm playing that, trying to unlock stuff all over again.

It's also my latest purchase.

Master of Orion 3 and the platinum edition of Neverwinter Nights. Too bad my computer doesn't quite have enough guts to run NWN well after the prologue when you enter the city.

Bought Mario Baseball. Pretty decent. Multiplayer is fun. Staying up since midnight is not.

I'd regret buying anything to do with Final Fantasy after how much 7 and upward blew. o_O (FFTA and the Original Tactics are Spared in my above statement, of course.)

Seriously, CC sucked so much, sure, the music and visuals were pleasing at best, but, I think we'd need more than that to have a good game. (Yes, Xenosaga, I'm looking in your direction.)

..anyway, last game I bought was Shin Megami Tensei - Nocturne. I have yet to do anything but stare at the box and look at the guide.

FF:CC isn't bad if you play it with a few friends. I can't imagine playing it by yourself though, that would be terrible (easy, repetitive, yeah single player would suck).

I bought Advanced Wars: Dual Strike the other day, it is pretty sweet. I <3 DS.

FF: CC was great with friends, horrible without. Seriously, it was an entertaining game- but playing the single player version was like pulling teeth.

I've bought... Nintendogs, Death Junior, and... umm- The DS Advance wars (Haven't played yet, though.)

i recently purchased shadow hearts and shadow hearts: coveneant
unsure if they are good or not, i just need another game series tog et into.
but ill play them later once i finish final fantasy X again.
