Howl's Moving castle
Grumpus:
I liked Laputa Castle in the Sky and spirited away more. Although that may have been because I watched howl's with my girlfriend so I was a bit distracted from the movie. *cough*
andyscout42:
i'm a big Miyazaki fan myself, and i've loved all of his movies so far. Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away were the best, but they were all great!
mooface:
Oh god. I could go on for ages. I loved it, loved it, loved it. it is rivaling pirates of the caribbean as my favorite movie of all time, even. i went to see it 3 times in one week back home, and now it just came out here in italy. i'm going to try and find someone to go see it with me in italian. i love miyazaki, he is amazing, but this was my favorite film by him BY FAR (although i've only seen two other works by him...)
Love_betweenthe_Heartless:
I really liked it, but I agree that it's not quite as good as some of Miyazaki's previous works (like spirited away and princess mononoke). I also kinda agree about the endings...some are kind of abrupt.
To the person who mentioned the book *is way too lazy to look and see who it actually is*: I haven't read the book, but I'm sure it probably is much better. That's kind of like when I watched the anime 'Fruits Basket'. The first time I saw it, I was in tears at the end, and didn't care how sudden and weird the ending was, but when I watched it again with a friend, I realized that it didn't really make sense...so I've been reading the manga, and they do make sense. So it's probably like that....And that's the end of my long and pointless story!!
