Thing about Hendrix is, everyone talks about him when he was in the Jimi Hendrix Experience, but no one talks about him when he was Band of Gypsies and that makes me hate people who mentions him.

Thing about Led Zepplin is, everyone claims that Jimmy Page is the best guitarist ever because of the solo in Stairway to Heaven... it's an atrocity. Granted the song is good, but it's dumb hearing people talk about how great Zepplin is because of that one song or how great Jimmy Page is because of that solo. It drives me crazy.

I agree that Zeppelin has way too many bandwagon fans. One time I went up and asked one of the kids at my high school who was wearing a Led Zep shirt to name a song that wasn't 'Stairway to Heaven'. Just as an experiment. He was able to come up with 'Rock and Roll', but after that he kind of just looked at me funny. Sure, Stairway's solo is great, but what about the ones on Dazed and Confused or Heartbreaker?

On the other hand, people who say that Led Zeppelin is 'mindless testosterone-charged hippee rock' make me just as angry, because they obviously know nothing about their music. Led Zeppelin III alone has about 5 different genres crammed into it.

I totally agree. Led Zepplin III does have quite a lot of variety. I especially liked some of the more folk-driven songs. Though I do enjoy Zepplin because alot of it is based off alot of blues songs, but it still uses other different instruments like tablas and such. People who try to talk Zepplin and don't know anything about them really annoy me. Thank god for people like you, Storm Rider, who can actually appreciate Zepplin for things other than Stairway.

System of a Down (mostly due to a friend's constant ramblings about them)

Bad bands:
i'll have to say that there are very few bands i truly and completely hate(in the genres i like). i can't stand rap, hip-hop or country so my bad bands would be in those areas
