Some of you may remember me.
Well, I didn't lose my love for Jeph's witty comics, just my interest in this board. It wasn't you, it was me. I'm terribly sorry.
Anyway, knowing what wonderful taste you all have in webcomics, I am sure that the same goes for comedy. So, I strongly suggest in the viewing of the a comedy trio labeled as the "present day Marx-brothers". They're called Stella, and they are made up of Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain. Back in the day they were on MTV's The State, an awesome sketch-filled show, and just a couple of years ago Wain and Showalter wrote and directed Wet Hot American Summer(an awesome movie I also reccomend seeing), where both Black and Showalter starred. This past summer their TV debut as Stella premiered on Comedy Central for one whole season, and while season 2 is not promised, I am remaining hopeful. It gave me a reason to watch CC for something other than the Daily Show(which I also love).
This is comedy on a whole level. Some may say "weird" or "bizarre", and those are the people who think Mind of Mencia and Mad TV are the greatest thing to happened to comedy. This is intelligent comedy, on a stupid level. And if that doesn't make any sense, go and see for yourself
here. This site is home to all of the short movies they have made between 1998-2002. Some personal favorites include Saturday, Raking Leaves, and Pizza, those are my top three favorites. Watch those, and if you don't like it then, watch them all. Again and again. If you still aren't hooked then, oh well. I understand that not all of you will enjoy this, as to some it is vulgar and disgusting, moronic and simply retarded. I think all of that just adds to their charm.
