Fun songs to play (guitarists)

Well I often find myself sitting there wanting to play a new song but really tired of old songs.  So anyone know of any good really fun songs to play?  I just found one that is really simple (if you get the beat) but its oddly fun to play.  Shiver by Coldplay.

Figure out how to play any of the Arcade Fire's faster songs, or Wolf Parade's "I'll Believe In Anything," or The Futureheads' "Decent Days And Nights." Then you'll have some fun guitar songs.

"Foreman's Dog" by Fugazi is pretty fun- probably the song I play most often for fun nowadays.

Depends what I'm on. Electric it'd be Acid Bath - Cassie Eats Cockroaches, funnest song I can play. Acoustic I just like to strum out folksy stuff. My favourite couple of acoustic songs I wrote myself ('The Loving Hand of Time' and 'Ian in Nifelheim')

I'm a big fan on simple metalcore. It's a lot of fun to play cause it's not too shreddy but it still sounds cool.
It Dies Today
Funeral for a Friend

Also, Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth are stupid fun to play.

And AFI.

And RATM.

Want something easy, play some Iron Maiden or Iced Earth, solos are pretty straight forward, and rhythm patterns are distinct, but some can't do em, I don't know why!?
Want something a bit more challenging, learn some sweep picking stuff and some arpeggios, or you can always figure out your own. Its pretty tricky, but impressive. It took me about a week to get, but Ive only been playing a year so Im not the best, so others should get it quicker. Check out some Dream Theater, Children of Bodom, and bands like that solos. Also that Opeth song "The Drapery Falls" is good fun to play. And Iron Maidens Transylvania, an easy solo song.

Have fun

I just learned Raining Blood by Slayer recently myself.  It's quite a lot of fun.

I second Fugazi's "Foreman's Dog"... fun to rock out with.

Lately I've been a sucker for learning Slayer songs because I've never learned any...
Stray Cats because its pretty difficult

I also enjoy a good Elliott Smith tune to learn and sing to (Alamea and Between the Bars are my favorites to play)

Isn't Shiver in one Coldplay's crazy-bastard tunings?

As far as songs that are fun to play on guitar - Just by Radiohead is fantastic. A good three guitars all doing great things.

"Heroes" by David Bowie if you have an e-bow, because you can basically do what the hell you want.

At Least That's What You Said by Wilco. Learn the chords Am, G and C and you've got the first bit - then just solo for three and a half minutes and you're done.
