OMGOMGOMG

So, i was just re-checking today's comic and I noticed an ad next to the Bearmonster banner for Mirrormask. I've been waiting for this movie to come out for a while now (Since 2003, although recently my interest in it has been resparked). I'm a little disappointed at how few theaters will be playing it, although going into Seattle shouldnt be too bad, I suppose. :O

Is anyone else here as excited about it as I am?

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR THIS MOVIE.

Sorry to yell. But holy crap. This movie looks like a porno for surrealists. Frickin NEIL GAIMAN and JIM HENSON teaming up? This movie is going to kick ass in so many different ways.

Sounds pretty awesome!  But it's only opening in select cities at first?

Yeah, the list is on the site. I live in Atlanta, so I'm one of the lucky few...

Dammit. I just realized that "Mirrormask" and "Serenity" are opening on the same day....

Where do my geek tendencies lay???

(Serenity wins, Mirrormask'll be there on Saturday)

I am definitely excited about seeing this, but I'll have to drive out of town to go see it, because they are only releasing it in select areas.  *sigh*  But it'll be worth it.  Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors, and the creators also made Labyrinth and Dark Crystal, two of my favorite childhood movies.  :)

I saw it last night, and, I have to say, it is WONDERFUL. <3 I hope it doesn't take too long to come out on DVD, and that it's easily accessable, because I REALLY would like to see it again. I won't have time to see it in theaters, though...probably, since it's in Seattle and only plays for a week =(
There's a fanclub for it on DA now, for those interested =3

I just got back from the theater and I can confidently say that this person speaks the truth. I wish I could articulate my feelings for this movie, but alas my mind has melted.

It just has to be seen.

The only thing I didn't like was that they sometimes overdid the shiney/dark/blurry-ness of the movie. It made it a bit difficult to see and was distracting at times.
