By a guy named Squiggy at Just Another Hole in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He does all of my tattoos and lets me name my own price.  That was a bit over 6 hours and was $420 because the first session was shitty and cost 200. (probably because i was late and in a shitty mood)

And Nobo, I was cleaning the fryer at work and the hot grease got poured down my arm, it ended in bad burns and me being pissed off.

I guess today is a day of new tattoos!

I just got this done today and I'm so happy with it. For those who are interested I went to Matt at The House of Pain in Annandale (Sydney). It was $150. It took maybe 45 minutes - 1 hour, not long. I might get it coloured a bit later but at the moment I'm happy with it just being black and grey.

They looked way out-of-shape here because of how I'm twisting my wristing, I'll shove a better photo at you lot later, but yeah, IT SO ITCHY.

£70, at Kalima by Ami (a.k.a the Bearded Lady), took 45 minutes.

Also Jimmy, RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD MAN.

Oh I didn't notice that. The PC webcam must not be using mirroring. It's only on the left wrist. My right arm is saved for a bigger, mo' colourful piece of inkingfun.

Alright, gonna be headin to bed soon, clearing out the camera memory stick, and then waking up to go suspend. The saddest thing is I'm not sure if I'm more nervous about the suspension or that we're going to a birthday party of someone we've never met to do so.

People are scary.

Got back not long ago and got all the pictures we took. We were going to take pictures of other folks, but we ended up having a dead set of batteries, so we saved the other for mine. There is also a set of pictures coming my way from a woman who was there taking pictures with a SLR Digital camera, so those will be both much better quality and will also include a 3 - 4 minute video of me being lifted up off the floor.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/48788676@N00/sets/72157622539200275/

I was hanging for about 3 hours and it was a 12 point (hook) Superman. It was originally going to be 10 point but I opted to have my arms up as well. Probably will not be doing that again, or if I do I'll request my arms be cut down sometime during the suspension. It wasn't terrible but my arms definitely got rather tired. I also had no krispies! I was slightly disappointed by this, but my right elbow had some so Kat still got her amusement out of it.

It was definitely a very positive experience and I'm planning on doing it again sometime. Not sure what the next position will be because I can't decide if I liked the relaxation aspect of it or the movement and swinging more. I honestly could have fallen asleep without a hitch though, so comfy.

For the past year now I've contemplated about doing suspension sometime in my life, maybe in the next few years or something. I barely know the bare basics but I've always wondered if there's some kind of weight limit. Being a guy who's weight goes up and down on a yearly basis this is something I thought might apply to the practice. Whenever I see pictures of dudes doing suspension they're nearly always slime/lean, so does your weight somehow come into play while doing it?

Not really, I'm around the 250lb mark myself and I saw a guy last night do a 4 point suicide (upper back) suspension who was around 300+ lbs. I know Cere told me he's suspended folks around the 500lb mark with no issues.

Nah, man, I totally get that. The very idea of a suspension is the coolest kind of crazy; who would have thought before someone actually did it that hanging from hooks could be a pleasurable thing?

Does anybody remember the names of various traditional Hawaiian tattoos?

I've been considering getting some tattoos to celebrate my heritage. I'm a pretty sweet mix of German and Hawaiian, and have been looking at malu tattoos, but I know there a few other types out there. I cannot for the life of me remember what they are called though, so some help would be apperciated. I am thinking as a Christmas gift to myself of going to visit my grandma, and getting my work done there with the traditional techniques.

well im 1/2 Quebecois, 1/4 irish and 1/4 german (acording to western ideology of lineage I would be irish) but what would be a good way of depicting this artisticly? a beaver with a lumberjack hat holding a stein in one hand and a pint in the other?

I cannot think of any sweet German tattoos. I contemplated a sweet huge facial scar, but I don't know if a)that's German enough, or b)it'd look good.

I was joking about the facial scar.

Also, I'm not so sure a German tattoo would fit in so much with my various sea creature theme I've sorta got going on. Whereas, I think the Hawaiian tattoo would fit in well.

If you ever get wooden jewelry it cuts it down quite a bit by absorbing the oils, but with glass about all you can do is keep em clean.
