Actually, I've had a similar idea. As far as location, I'd recommend the back of your left calf. If you look at a lot of toys you may've had as a kid, that's about the most common spot they put the copyright info (There or the bottom of the foot and I doubt that'd be fun). I plan to put a copyright there, myself.

When I saw the Calvin and Hobbs strip I thought you got the whole page tattooed on you. Which would have been much cooler. Still a good tatt though.
