It may just be the area of the country I live in, but they tend to be shallow, insecure, and not someone you'd want to be around for more than a few weeks.
I did the whole "deep personal meaning" with my first one, the word "Ouroboros" around my lower left bicep. Funny thing about that word, I guess its the name of semi-well known band (maybe? i still haven't looked them up), but twice now I've had people assume I'm just a huge fan of that band and be like "I LOVE Ouroboros man!" and point to my arm. Both times were in gas stations so I just went with it.
