The tattoo actually looks much cooler when you see it after it healed/the guy cleared up his acne.

I think it looks far worse in that photo, at least in the first one he gets a nice effect since the black is sharper and it looks like parts of his face are actually missing. His nose in the second one is just embarrassing, the guy needs to walk around with a black background and low lighting for the rest of his life to avoid that looking anything other than just massively silly (and even then, he'd only get to the level of 'pretty damn silly').
Could be worse though, he could be Earth Crisis face guy.
He gets bonus points for being Dutch and having NYHC tattooed on the back of his head.
