Yeah, Opalite is opalised glass. Wood is probably the one that has the most obvious differences in quality, simply because you can see and feel so much of the difference. Everything from the type and toxicity of the wood, quality of the carved or lasered patterns and the finish. Steel has a pretty wide range of quality as well, polish being the most noticeable, but a lot of it has to do with the metal content and how well put together it is.

Lines:
Which is one of the reasons I avoid metal, because I don't feel like experimenting with how much my allergies have developed over the years. I know 100% I am allergic to nickel, I don't know if I've developed any other metal allergies and I don't feel like bothering with chancing it. Considering I rarely change my plugs anyways...meh. I'd change them more if I found more pretty single flares, but I haven't really. And I'm not wearing hanging styles to work because two-year-old-grabby-hands.

ackblom12:
Well, if you ever go for new piercings or jewelry and want to try something other than glass, consider trying out titanium jewelry from either Anatometal or Industrial Strength. They're the best as far as metal jewelry goes and titanium sensitivities are incredibly rare in comparison to nickel sensitivities.

Jace:
Also titanium weighs nothing and is incredibly strong in gauges as low as 20g so you can get incredibly thin walls on eyelets without worrying about them bending or denting ever if you drop them or squish them outside of your ears.

ackblom12:
Also, I'd suggest never ever get a titanium captive bead or seamless ring in anything larger that 4g. I learned the hard way that they're practically impossible to set and unset due to the strength of the metal.
