Post ugly instruments you found!
I got the idea after my friend's brother spray painted his acoustic guitar. I'd post pictures of that, but they don't exist. It's disgusting though.
So I'll post this one instead!

Apart from the string hair, that is pretty cool.

I said, the orange string is a bit too much. I am not entirely behind the guitar. I would not support it like I would support, say, a Tony Lazaro 'Crucifire' Custom.

Come to think of it, since i guess the pickups are on his head, and his legs are the neck, then either the nose or ears would be closest to the setup of a real guitar.

I'd go with ears though

I swear that second one (which really is ugly as sin) says "TEH" in the top right corner of the body, though.

I doubt the spikes on the eagle actually form part of the sound box, you can see the curve where the original back must remain. They probably don't effect the sound too much in that case. A pretty cool guitar nevertheless. I move it should be fitted with a contact mic or pickups and used solely for playing Hendrix's version of the Star Spangled Banner and 'America, Fuck Yeah'.

I'm not so sure myself. It would certainly make the back portion of the body a lot smaller than the front one. Do people even do that with acoustics?

Well, it looks like it's made from the body of one Ovation and the bridge of another, so I have no idea. The bridge seems to have been moved though, so I'd imagine whoever made it knows what they're about.

Also, on reflection, those babies on the side ARE contact mics, aren't they?

Spinless, when are we getting married?

La Creme, I've seen a Martin custom electric guitar that looked EXACTLY like an M-16, and I've played it, and it's actually REALLY easy to play. That one looks like it'd be a snap, too, certainly not neck-heavy, and there isn't a giant-ass body getting in the way of your 22nd fret.

Just one question, why? Not only would it be akward but each instrument is made different, how would you get the right sound? Not to mention its just plain ugly.

But this way you can use different tunings IN THE SAME SONG!!!1!

I imagine the back two necks on that quad thing are probably used entirely for tapping solos.
