so, what do you think are good songs to have going on in the background while you are engaging in some sweet lovin' with your significant other?  i'll start this list off with:

Broken Social Scene- "Pitter Patter Goes My Heart"
Eels- "Theme for a Pretty Girl That Makes You Believe God Exists"
and of course, the classic
Marvin Gaye- "Let's Get it On"

as you might be able to tell, i'm kind of the slow gentle type.

Due to a terrible taste in chicks and a need to please, it'll probably end up being metal.

The cliché answer: Most of Bob Marley.

Mmf. Tori Amos scares me.

Although...

There was that one time my sister wouldn't STFU playing "Down By The Seaside". And she hated Led Zeppelin until she got into college (figures). So I played the original Zeppelin version of it. She got so pissed and never played her again. I was very happy. ^__^

Well, say what you want about the new BSS album, but I think "Hotel" is the secksiest thing ever.

Otherwise: Vespertine, You Think It's Like This But Really It's Like This, In a Silent Way, 94diskont, No Protection, What Sound, and "Like Gold" by Erlend Øye (but not really the rest of the album). Am I offering too much information about my sex life here? :)

(OK, for the sake of having one fast/loud thing: Beacoup Fish.)

Oh. One song that turns me on beyond all reason (it's a really weird song, too!) is "Killer Queen" by Queen. I don't know WHY.

Erm...I'm not...

Oh, and a song I think is pretty sexy, at least musically, is Only In Dreams by Weezer. It's a long song...it's got a big crescendo at the end...the end is the best bit...yeah?

June of 44 - Of Information & Belief
Yo La Tengo - Don't Have To Be So Sad

I admit that these two songs are not exactly for teh humping, but they are romantic and they make me feel good.

Turbonegro - Get It On
North of America - Let's Get Tight
Tons of Minus The Bear songs.

...Turbonegro - I Got Erection
Electric Eel Shock - I Can Hear The Sex Noise
If I played either of these songs, I probably couldn't stop laughing.

And of course: Deep Purple - Smoke On The Water. Fuck, yeah.

Not any of these songs have any application in my case right now...

                                    New Slang, The Shins
Nirvana's Unplugged in New York in general

Sythe, I have a neighbor downstairs who's just got a shiny new bass guitar. I already fucking hate them already, because you know what they play for HOURS ON END? "Smoke On The Water". Come on, at least learn another song so you don't make me want to murder you as messily as I do. Hell, if you learn another one, they won't have to bleach your bloodstains out of *every* wall.

Under Byen could work for some tender loving I suppose, they are quite sensual on tracks like Kyst, Byen Driver, Sejler and Gå ind i Lyset. But it's a question if you like the vocals, I know a guy who calls Henriette Sennenvaldt's(the lead singer) for retarded elf vocals. That might be an exaggeration, but it is an acquired taste.

I thought the cliche answer was Marvin Gaye.

The quinessential shagging album is by far Miles Davis' Kind of Blue.  Arguably the sexiest album ever.

Oh, and never, EVER (I speak from experience here) get it on to Rammstein.  Just no.

Given their lyrics, I doubt I could maintain an erection. I would either be laughing or crying. Maybe both.

The whole appeal Rammstein might have is ruined if you actually understand what they're singing.

Again, I know German to GCSE standard and have read translations of all their stuff, and I still think it's good. I'd probably do it to 'Adios', but I would break my partners hip during the synth solo.

@KimJongSick:

Quote
"A cross upon her bedroom wall.
From grace she will fall.
An image burning in her mind.
And between her thighs.

A dying God-man full of pain.
When will you cum again?
Before him beg to serve or please.
On your back or knees.
There's no forgiveness for her sins.
Prefers punishment?
Would you suffer eternally.
Or internally?

For her lust.
She'll burn in hell.
Her soul done medium well.
All through mass manual stimulation.
Salvation.

Body of Christ.
She needs.
The body of Christ.

She'd like to know God.
Ooh love God.
Feel her God.
Inside of her - deep inside of her.

Jesus Christ looks like me."

Not made any worse by the fact that Peter Steeles voice is like liquid sex.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.
